Registering in SAM

 

In order to do any business with the Government, you will need to be registered in the System for Award Management, or SAM. Our video walks you through the required registration steps.

Required Information when visiting the SAM website:

– Your DUNS number
– Your company’s legal business name
– Your company’s physical address (This must match your DUNS registration EXACTLY, even down to punctuation and abbreviations. For instance, if your company is located on Main Street, and your DUNS registration reads Main S T, ensure your SAM registration reads Main S T as well, rather than STREET)
– Your company’s Taxpayer Identification Number
– The Taxpayer Name associated with your TIN
– Your bank’s routing number, account number, and account type
